Joe Siprut is the Founder, Chief Executive Officer, and Chief Investment Officer of Kerberos Capital Management, an SEC-Registered Investment Adviser** and alternative investment manager focused on asset-backed credit and specialty finance strategies.

Since founding Kerberos in 2018, Joe has led the growth of the firm into a platform managing $400 million+ in assets across private credit and specialty finance strategies through commingled funds, separately managed accounts, and related mandates.

As CEO and CIO, Joe is responsible for the firm’s investment strategy, underwriting framework, portfolio construction, risk management, fundraising activities, and overall strategic direction. His legal background continues to inform Kerberos’ approach to contractual analysis, recovery assessment, restructuring situations, and complex credit opportunities.

Prior to founding Kerberos, Joe was a nationally recognized trial attorney and founder of a successful litigation practice. He was named to the LawDragon 500, repeatedly recognized as a Super Lawyer and Leading Lawyer, awarded an AV Preeminent rating from Martindale-Hubbell, and previously named among the Top 40 Attorneys Under 40 in Illinois. More recently, Joe was recognized as a finalist in the Chief Investment Officer Industry Innovation Awards, reflecting his contributions to innovation within the alternative investment industry.*

Joe is a frequent speaker and panelist on private credit, specialty finance, alternative investments, and legal risk analysis. He is a graduate of Northwestern University School of Law, where he served as Managing Editor of the Northwestern Law Review.

Joe is also active in philanthropy and nonprofit initiatives, particularly those related to animal welfare and youth development.
